Last Friday, Livingston Academy traveled to Baxter to play Upperman.  LA scored 7 touchdowns on 9 offensive possessions and added a defensive score to defeat the Bees by a score of 56-20.  The Wildcats' first score came on their first offensive play when Kaleb Qualls completed a 66 yard TD pass to Wade Eldridge.  Two offensive plays later, Dylan Linder scored on a 59 yard run after LA had regained possession from a Daniel Flatt interception on defense.  On Upperman's next offensive series, Wade Eldridge recovered a fumble and in the process of being tackled, he lateraled to Gage Vaughn who raced 35 yards for a TD to put LA up 21-0.  Upperman responded with back to back touchdowns to bring the score to 21-14 in favor of Livingston.  From that point on it was all HOGEYE as LA scored 5 TDs on 5 consecutive possessions.  The first of the five TDs was another Qualls to Eldridge pass covering 45 yards.  Next was a 34 yard run by Peter Hollars and then Hollars was on the receiving end of another Qualls TD pass just before halftime.  In the 2nd half, Qualls completed his 4th passing TD of the game to Carter Hayes and Linder capped off LA's scoring with a 48 TD run.  Upperman added a TD late in the 4th quarter to finish the scoring for the night.  The win pushed LA's record to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in District 8AA.

The next game for HOGEYE will be the final home game of the regular season on Friday, October 24 as the Wildcats will take on the 4-4 Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) Warriors.
