The LA basketball teams played three nights last week.  The first night was on Tuesday as LA hosted Dekalb Co.  Both LA teams came away victorious with the girls winning 60-46 and the boys winning 76-44.  The LA girls kept their exceptional streak of not losing to Dekalb Co since 1985 alive and well.  On Thursday, the LA teams traveled to Byrdstown to face Pickett Co.  The LA teams split with Pickett Co as the LA girls lost 59-61 and the LA boys won 68-55.  Two of the LA girls were injured against Pickett Co and were unable to play the following night in Murfreesboro against Central Magnet.  The LA girls kept their District 8AA record unblemished with a 70-59 win and the boys prevailed as well with a 65-38 victory.  The Dillon siblings, Tatum and Tanner, led the way for LA as they were the leading scorers for their respective teams  This week the LA teams travel to Carthage on Tuesday to face Smith Co and then on Thursday they will head to the Smoky Mountains to play in the Gatlinburg Tournament which will be held from Thursday to Saturday.
